Yran & Storbraaten Architects have been developing cruise ships and pleasure crafts for more than 2 decades. Our company is one of the key international players in the development of a new cruise ship concept. Our goal is to create optimal solutions and elegant designs to the owner, shipyard and passenger. We have projects in the cruise, yacht and river boat market and always strive to create an end result that exceed our clients expectations.

Our closeness to the international cruise market has brought our name into a number of well known projects and many of the commercial ships that are travelling on the Seven seas today have been created with the help of our company’s creative involvment and influence.

Interior design, newbuildings and refurbishment

Our interior department consists of a team of highly dedicated interior designers complete with an in-house fabric and furniture library. Our clients are accustomed to paying for individuality. We design, develop and adapt a product with uniqness where the participation of the client/user is both welcome and desired, in close and intimate co-orporation in the development of the project.

Our services include both newbuildings and refurbishment of older vessels. We specialize in everything from Theatres, Bars, Atriums, Restaurants, Cabins/Suites, Spa/Health Clubs to the total interior planning of the ship, the so called GA (General Arrangement).
